In the 2013 edition of the award Deal of the Year, Latin Lawyer awarded two deals performed by Machado Meyer, in two different categories: Celpa (Restructuring) and LATAM (M&A).

The awards recognized the Largo deal, which consisted in a greenfield mining project for the construction, operation, maintenance and exploration of vanadium mines in Maracás, Bahia.

The winner in the first category was Petrobras record breaking share offer, in which we acted for the company. In the second one, the winner was Independência´s restructuring, in which we acted for BTIG and the bondholders.
